Last night's “How I Met Your Mother” two-part season finale gave us answers to some of the season's burning questions and, like any good cliffhanger, raised a few new ones we won't get answers to until next season.
The episode opens with Lily in labor on her living room couch. Marshall is stranded in Atlantic City with Barney, drunk and with no clear way to get to her side.
Robin and...

And one his first tweets can be found here.
It's part of the publicity campaign for the recently-annnounced sequel to "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy," the beloved Will Ferrell comedy in which he played a macho San Diego newscaster in 1975.
The tweet also confirms one bit of news that's been circulating around the Web: A teaser for "Anchorman 2" will screen...
The secret version of 'The Great Gatsby'
Will the fourth time be the charm for the upcoming DiCaprio-Maguire version of "The Great Gatsby?"
F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel of jaded morals in the Jazz Age seems to have a kind of curse on it. The first studio adaptation, with Warner Baxter playing the mysterious millionaire Jay Gatsby, is known primarily for being lost to time; about the only thing left is a ragged trailer....
'This is 40' poster leaks

A possible poster for the upcoming Judd Apatow comedy "This is 40" hit the Web Tuesday but was disavowed this morning by Apatow and apparently taken down from at least one site by the film's studio, Universal.
"This is 40" stars Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann reprising their roles as Pete and Debbie, the flailing married couple in "Knocked Up." The poster, still visible...

'Girls' on HBO: Hannah's Diary disappoints
For me, this was the weakest episode of HBO's "Girls" so far. Many of the story lines seemed rushed and forced. Still, some parts worth mentioning:
How much abuse will Hannah put up with? Her new co-workers tell her not to worry about their boss' inappropriate touches -- he's nice, they say, and gives good gifts. Yikes. When he asks her if it's bothersome, she shrugs it off. Definitely...
Ryan Seacrest: Sacha Baron Cohen planned ashes for George Clooney

Ryan Seacrest apparently was not the planned target for Sacha Baron Cohen's ash attack at the Oscars red carpet.
"Went to SNL on Saturday, ran into Sacha Baron Cohen," Seacrest tweeted. "We talked... original plan was to ash Clooney!"
The E! News and "American Idol" host was memorably covered in "ashes" by "The Dictator" actor during...

Adam Yauch: the coolest Beastie
For a large segment of Generation X, the death of Adam Yauch, the Beastie Boy better known as MCA, will hit home in a way that Kurt Cobain's suicide did not. Cobain was an iconic rock star with an outsize life and outsize problems. Yauch, on the other hand, was one of us.
Like few other bands of the past 20 years, Beastie Boys mirrored the shifting interests, pursuits, tastes and larger life-phases...
