Relocated to the Jones Beach Coast Guard Station two years ago, Senior Chief Terry Lathrop, who has served 25 years in the guard, shook things up, bringing back such military traditions "Reveille" at sunrise, "To the Colors" for the 8 a.m. flag-raising, and "Taps" at the end of the day.
